The third issue showcases barbers across the country. Amidst all the modern versions of the barber, there is still room for the solo practitioner operating with a small kit, a mirror and a chair and these are the men primarily featured in this issue. Shot in Hyderabad and Kolkata, there emerges a shared aesthetic of the street barber. We feel this commonality over a large distance in cultural make up adds a new dimension to our stories, and is something we hope to work on in our future stories as well.
